Senior Technician - Overhead Line

Key Role:

Assist Engineers in ensuring that the contractors work is meeting quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with contractors to verify and check the quality of work in the field.
• Assist the Engineer in the supervision of Contractor’s work in the field.
• Assist in the preparation of the observation report.
• Inspect the route documenting and reporting any encroachments on the ROW.
• Supervising all third party projects crossing the line ROW.
• Performing sand removal joint estimation.
• Respond immediately to line trip and supervise the emergency line patrolling.
• Supervising and performing ESDD & NSDD with the contractor to the line insulators and the test station insulators.
• Supervising the drone inspection on site.
• Perform safety checks.

Education:

High school diploma
