Senior Engineer - Transmission Substation

Key Role:

Identify problems in Substation, plan maintenance and monitor contractors work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Site visits to supervise maintenance work performed by contractors.
• Troubleshoot & diagnose problems.
• Identify consequences of changes.
• Ensure documentation of errors and actions taken.
• Read and design Drawings.
• Manage Control System.
• Carry out switching operations and circuit main earth connections.
• Carry out non electrical work in stations.
• Issue permits for work, sanctions for test, certificates of isolation and limitations of access.
• Receive sanction for test.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
