Analyst – Account Payables

Job overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst - Accounts Payables to support our finance team in processing payments, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate financial records. Reporting to a Specialist, this role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who have a bachelor’s degree and are eager to gain experience in finance and accounting.

Key responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  
• Produce functional and management reports related to account payable section and relevant taxes.
  
• Assist in reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve payment issues and queries.
  
• Prepare payment batches for review and approval, ensuring that all payments are processed within deadlines.
  
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing relevant reports and documentation.
  
• Track and analyze accounts payable data to provide insights and support decision-making.
  
• Contribute to improving accounts payable processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
  
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
  
• Other ad-hoc tasks that might be assigned directly by the manager related to the accounting section.
  

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
