Specialist - Procurement

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Specialist - Procurement to join our procurement team. Reporting to the Senior Specialist, this role will support the procurement process by managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement process by sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and comparing pricing and quality.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and manage relationships with vendors.
• Support the evaluation of vendor performance based on criteria such as delivery, quality, and pricing.
• Handle the documentation and filing of contracts, purchase orders, and related procurement records.
• Participate in negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, providing support during internal audits.
• Assist in generating procurement reports and analyses for management review.

Education:

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and SAP is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of procurement principles and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for managing supplier relations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team.
