Senior Specialist - Regulatory Compliance and Taxation

• Tax Compliance Review: Conducting comprehensive reviews of tax returns, financial statements, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements in all GCC countries. Tax returns include VAT return, Withholding tax return, Zakat return, corporate tax return where applicable.
• Risk Assessment: Identifying potential tax risks and areas of non-compliance by analyzing financial data, conducting research, and staying updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of tax information, findings, and actions. Preparing monthly reports summarizing results and presenting them to management, if necessary.
• Compliance Assistance: Providing guidance and assistance to other departments, answering inquiries, and explaining tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Tax audit: Collaborating with tax authorities by supplying the requirement information, explanation and justification to successfully close any audit by tax authorities.
• Tax Planning: Collaborating with tax professionals, consultant, and financial advisors to develop tax planning strategies that optimize tax efficiency while complying with applicable laws and regulations.
• Training and Education: Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations through continuous learning and professional development. Conducting training sessions or workshops to educate internal staff or taxpayers on tax compliance matters.
• Compliance Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and suggesting measures to enhance tax compliance procedures and systems within an organization
